Choose the Oil Seal 48x70x10 NBR TC when a 48 mm shaft in a 70 mm housing needs a reliable double-lip barrier. Its 48x70x10 mm size is a regular in steel-plant gearboxes, screw conveyors and big-bore rotating shafts.

Why the TC profile is so widely used
As a TC-pattern seal it seals in two stages: a primary spring-loaded lip holds the oil film on the shaft, while a second lip fends off dust and water spray; the rubber-covered case keeps the whole unit anchored in the bore.
About the NBR nitrile compound
NBR (Nitrile) is the standard compound for general industrial sealing. It handles mineral oils, greases and hydraulic fluids, which is why it is the default choice in gearboxes, electric motors and pumps. Keep it away from brake fluid, and store spare seals out of direct sunlight.
It is normal for a shaft to measure a few tenths of a millimetre smaller than nominal; the sealing lip is engineered to take up that difference.
