One 60x82x12 mm part does the sealing: the Oil Seal 60x82x12 NBR TC wraps a 60 mm shaft in its spring-loaded lip and presses firmly into a 82 mm bore — the kind of fit seen across heavy-duty gearboxes, conveyor drums and large pump shafts.

Why the TC profile is so widely used
Every TC seal combines three elements: a rubber-covered case that grips the bore, a spring-loaded sealing lip that follows shaft runout, and a dust lip that shields the main lip from contamination.
About the NBR nitrile compound
Material-wise this is NBR nitrile: a balanced compound for mineral oil, diesel-range fuels and greases at moderate temperatures — ideal for rotating equipment. Two cautions: no exposure to glycol-based brake fluid, and keep stock seals out of sunlight.
It is normal for a shaft to measure a few tenths of a millimetre smaller than nominal; the sealing lip is engineered to take up that difference.
