Engineered as a direct replacement, the Oil Seal 58x80x8 NBR TC (58x80x8 mm) seals 58 mm shafts against dust and moisture from the moment it seats in the 80 mm bore — common in mining conveyors, industrial reducers, mixer shafts and rolling equipment.

Why the TC profile is so widely used
As a TC-pattern seal it seals in two stages: a primary spring-loaded lip holds the oil film on the shaft, while a second lip fends off dust and water spray; the rubber-covered case keeps the whole unit anchored in the bore.
About the NBR nitrile compound
The compound is NBR nitrile, selected for oil-and-grease compatibility across motors, reducers and pumps. Note the limits: brake fluid degrades nitrile, and sunlight ages stored rubber — so store spares dark and dry.
Measuring your shaft a few tenths under the nominal figure is expected; the spring-loaded lip is built to seal with that small interference.
