The Oil Seal 56x75x8 NBR TC (56x75x8 mm) renews the sealing on a 56 mm shaft where grease or oil must stay in and grit must stay out — a typical fitment in heavy-duty gearboxes, conveyor drums and large pump shafts.

Why the TC profile is so widely used
As a TC-pattern seal it seals in two stages: a primary spring-loaded lip holds the oil film on the shaft, while a second lip fends off dust and water spray; the rubber-covered case keeps the whole unit anchored in the bore.
About the NBR nitrile compound
The compound is NBR nitrile, selected for oil-and-grease compatibility across motors, reducers and pumps. Note the limits: brake fluid degrades nitrile, and sunlight ages stored rubber — so store spares dark and dry.
Should the shaft read slightly below the listed size — typically a few tenths of a millimetre — no concern: the lip’s interference fit accounts for it.
