For 50 mm shafts turning in 80 mm bores, the Oil Seal 50x80x10 NBR TC (50x80x10 mm, TC type, NBR) provides the tight, spring-assisted seal that heavy-duty gearboxes, conveyor drums and large pump shafts depend on.

Why the TC profile is so widely used
The TC arrangement — rubber-covered case, garter-spring main lip, external dust lip — is the industry’s go-to solution wherever a shaft spins in an oil-filled housing.
NBR nitrile rubber at a glance
Made of NBR (acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber), the seal tolerates the mineral oils and lithium greases that lubricate most machinery. Standard practice: keep NBR away from brake fluid, and store unused seals in their bag, out of sunlight.
Should the shaft read slightly below the listed size — typically a few tenths of a millimetre — no concern: the lip’s interference fit accounts for it.
