The Oil Seal 50x72x8 NBR TC is a TC rotary shaft seal sized 50x72x8 mm (ID × OD × width). It keeps oil inside and dirt outside on a 50 mm shaft seated in a 72 mm bore — a size common in industrial gearboxes, conveyors and mid-size rotating equipment.

How the TC design works
TC seals work with a triple defence — a rubber-coated case seating tightly in the bore, a main lip held against the shaft by a garter spring, and an outer dust lip that keeps abrasive particles away.
About the NBR nitrile compound
Made of NBR (acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber), the seal tolerates the mineral oils and lithium greases that lubricate most machinery. Standard practice: keep NBR away from brake fluid, and store unused seals in their bag, out of sunlight.
Don’t worry if your micrometer shows the shaft a few tenths under size — the garter-sprung lip is designed to seal against exactly that condition.
