The Oil Seal 48x65x10 NBR TC is a TC rotary shaft seal sized 48x65x10 mm (ID × OD × width). It keeps oil inside and dirt outside on a 48 mm shaft seated in a 65 mm bore — a size common in heavy-duty gearboxes, conveyor drums and large pump shafts.

How the TC design works
Its TC construction pairs a rubber-covered OD (a snug press-fit in the bore) with a spring-energised sealing lip and a separate dust lip, so both oil retention and contamination exclusion are covered.
About the NBR nitrile compound
Made of NBR (acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber), the seal tolerates the mineral oils and lithium greases that lubricate most machinery. Standard practice: keep NBR away from brake fluid, and store unused seals in their bag, out of sunlight.
Measuring your shaft a few tenths under the nominal figure is expected; the spring-loaded lip is built to seal with that small interference.
