The Oil Seal 42x55x7 NBR TC (42x55x7 mm) renews the sealing on a 42 mm shaft where grease or oil must stay in and grit must stay out — a typical fitment in electric motors, gearboxes, pumps and agricultural machinery.

How the TC design works
Every TC seal combines three elements: a rubber-covered case that grips the bore, a spring-loaded sealing lip that follows shaft runout, and a dust lip that shields the main lip from contamination.
Material: NBR – Nitrile
The compound is NBR nitrile, selected for oil-and-grease compatibility across motors, reducers and pumps. Note the limits: brake fluid degrades nitrile, and sunlight ages stored rubber — so store spares dark and dry.
It is normal for a shaft to measure a few tenths of a millimetre smaller than nominal; the sealing lip is engineered to take up that difference.
