The Oil Seal 42x50x7 NBR TC is a TC rotary shaft seal sized 42x50x7 mm (ID × OD × width). It keeps oil inside and dirt outside on a 42 mm shaft seated in a 50 mm bore — a size common in drive motors, planetary gearboxes, irrigation pumps and feed mixers.

Why the TC profile is so widely used
Every TC seal combines three elements: a rubber-covered case that grips the bore, a spring-loaded sealing lip that follows shaft runout, and a dust lip that shields the main lip from contamination.
About the NBR nitrile compound
This is an NBR-nitrile seal — the everyday elastomer for oil-lubricated equipment, compatible with mineral oils, greases and hydraulic media. For longest life, avoid brake fluid contact and store spares away from direct sunlight.
If your shaft measures a few tenths of a millimetre under the nominal size, that is normal — the sealing lip is designed with interference for exactly that.
