The Oil Seal 38x70x7 NBR TC is a TC rotary shaft seal sized 38x70x7 mm (ID × OD × width). It keeps oil inside and dirt outside on a 38 mm shaft seated in a 70 mm bore — a size common in drive motors, planetary gearboxes, irrigation pumps and feed mixers.

About the TC profile
The TC layout brings three protections together: a rubber outer surface that grips the housing bore, a garter-spring lip that tracks slight shaft movement, and a secondary dust lip that blocks grit before it reaches the sealing edge.
NBR nitrile rubber at a glance
The seal lip is moulded from NBR, a nitrile rubber prized for resistance to mineral oil, grease and hydraulic fluids — the default elastomer for general machinery. It should not meet brake fluid, and stored spares fare best away from UV light.
Should the shaft read slightly below the listed size — typically a few tenths of a millimetre — no concern: the lip’s interference fit accounts for it.
