This TC oil seal measures 38x68x12 mm and is machined for a 38 mm shaft rotating inside a 68 mm housing — a dimension you will meet in motor shafts, gearbox input stages, centrifugal pumps and tillers.

Inside the TC double-lip design
TC is the standard rotary-shaft profile for good reason: a rubber OD seals the bore side, a spring-loaded lip seals the shaft side, and a dust lip extends service life in dirty environments.
NBR nitrile rubber at a glance
Made of NBR (acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber), the seal tolerates the mineral oils and lithium greases that lubricate most machinery. Standard practice: keep NBR away from brake fluid, and store unused seals in their bag, out of sunlight.
It is normal for a shaft to measure a few tenths of a millimetre smaller than nominal; the sealing lip is engineered to take up that difference.
