The Oil Seal 30x45x12 NBR TC is a TC rotary shaft seal sized 30x45x12 mm (ID × OD × width). It keeps oil inside and dirt outside on a 30 mm shaft seated in a 45 mm bore — a size common in drive motors, planetary gearboxes, irrigation pumps and feed mixers.

About the TC profile
TC seals work with a triple defence — a rubber-coated case seating tightly in the bore, a main lip held against the shaft by a garter spring, and an outer dust lip that keeps abrasive particles away.
Why NBR for this seal
The seal lip is moulded from NBR, a nitrile rubber prized for resistance to mineral oil, grease and hydraulic fluids — the default elastomer for general machinery. It should not meet brake fluid, and stored spares fare best away from UV light.
It is normal for a shaft to measure a few tenths of a millimetre smaller than nominal; the sealing lip is engineered to take up that difference.
