Sized 28x47x8 mm (inner × outer × width), the Oil Seal 28x47x8 NBR TC seals a 28 mm shaft running in a 47 mm bore. This size turns up often in electric motors, gearboxes, pumps and agricultural machinery.

Why the TC profile is so widely used
TC is the standard rotary-shaft profile for good reason: a rubber OD seals the bore side, a spring-loaded lip seals the shaft side, and a dust lip extends service life in dirty environments.
Material: NBR – Nitrile
The compound is NBR nitrile, selected for oil-and-grease compatibility across motors, reducers and pumps. Note the limits: brake fluid degrades nitrile, and sunlight ages stored rubber — so store spares dark and dry.
Don’t worry if your micrometer shows the shaft a few tenths under size — the garter-sprung lip is designed to seal against exactly that condition.
