Replace the worn seal on a 28 mm shaft with the Oil Seal 28x35x10 NBR TC — 28x35x10 mm, TC profile, NBR compound — it drops into a 35 mm bore and stops the leak. Popular in electric motors, gearboxes, pumps and agricultural machinery.

How the TC design works
The TC arrangement — rubber-covered case, garter-spring main lip, external dust lip — is the industry’s go-to solution wherever a shaft spins in an oil-filled housing.
Why NBR for this seal
NBR (Nitrile) is the standard compound for general industrial sealing. It handles mineral oils, greases and hydraulic fluids, which is why it is the default choice in gearboxes, electric motors and pumps. Keep it away from brake fluid, and store spare seals out of direct sunlight.
It is normal for a shaft to measure a few tenths of a millimetre smaller than nominal; the sealing lip is engineered to take up that difference.
