This TC oil seal measures 25x55x8 mm and is machined for a 25 mm shaft rotating inside a 55 mm housing — a dimension you will meet in industrial motors, speed reducers, hydraulic pumps and farm equipment.

How the TC design works
The TC arrangement — rubber-covered case, garter-spring main lip, external dust lip — is the industry’s go-to solution wherever a shaft spins in an oil-filled housing.
Why NBR for this seal
NBR (Nitrile) is the standard compound for general industrial sealing. It handles mineral oils, greases and hydraulic fluids, which is why it is the default choice in gearboxes, electric motors and pumps. Keep it away from brake fluid, and store spare seals out of direct sunlight.
Don’t worry if your micrometer shows the shaft a few tenths under size — the garter-sprung lip is designed to seal against exactly that condition.
