Sized 25x50x12 mm (inner × outer × width), the Oil Seal 25x50x12 NBR TC seals a 25 mm shaft running in a 50 mm bore. This size turns up often in AC motors, worm gearboxes, gear pumps and harvest machinery.

How the TC design works
Three features define the TC type: the rubber outer case that fills small bore imperfections, the garter-spring-loaded lip that maintains contact under runout, and the auxiliary lip that acts as a dirt barrier.
NBR nitrile rubber at a glance
NBR (Nitrile) is the standard compound for general industrial sealing. It handles mineral oils, greases and hydraulic fluids, which is why it is the default choice in gearboxes, electric motors and pumps. Keep it away from brake fluid, and store spare seals out of direct sunlight.
Don’t worry if your micrometer shows the shaft a few tenths under size — the garter-sprung lip is designed to seal against exactly that condition.
