If your 25 mm shaft is weeping oil, the Oil Seal 25x45x10 NBR TC — a TC spring-loaded seal at 25x45x10 mm — restores the barrier between the 45 mm housing and the outside world. A staple size for workshop motors, helical gearboxes, vane pumps and tractor attachments.

How the TC design works
As a TC-pattern seal it seals in two stages: a primary spring-loaded lip holds the oil film on the shaft, while a second lip fends off dust and water spray; the rubber-covered case keeps the whole unit anchored in the bore.
NBR nitrile rubber at a glance
Made of NBR (acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber), the seal tolerates the mineral oils and lithium greases that lubricate most machinery. Standard practice: keep NBR away from brake fluid, and store unused seals in their bag, out of sunlight.
If your shaft measures a few tenths of a millimetre under the nominal size, that is normal — the sealing lip is designed with interference for exactly that.
