Replace the worn seal on a 25 mm shaft with the Oil Seal 25x42x8 NBR TC — 25x42x8 mm, TC profile, NBR compound — it drops into a 42 mm bore and stops the leak. Popular in drive motors, planetary gearboxes, irrigation pumps and feed mixers.

Why the TC profile is so widely used
Its TC construction pairs a rubber-covered OD (a snug press-fit in the bore) with a spring-energised sealing lip and a separate dust lip, so both oil retention and contamination exclusion are covered.
Material: NBR – Nitrile
NBR (Nitrile) is the standard compound for general industrial sealing. It handles mineral oils, greases and hydraulic fluids, which is why it is the default choice in gearboxes, electric motors and pumps. Keep it away from brake fluid, and store spare seals out of direct sunlight.
Measuring your shaft a few tenths under the nominal figure is expected; the spring-loaded lip is built to seal with that small interference.
