The Oil Seal 22x45x10 NBR TC is a TC rotary shaft seal sized 22x45x10 mm (ID × OD × width). It keeps oil inside and dirt outside on a 22 mm shaft seated in a 45 mm bore — a size common in household appliance motors, power tools, aquarium pumps and small gear drives.

Why the TC profile is so widely used
Its TC construction pairs a rubber-covered OD (a snug press-fit in the bore) with a spring-energised sealing lip and a separate dust lip, so both oil retention and contamination exclusion are covered.
About the NBR nitrile compound
NBR (Nitrile) is the standard compound for general industrial sealing. It handles mineral oils, greases and hydraulic fluids, which is why it is the default choice in gearboxes, electric motors and pumps. Keep it away from brake fluid, and store spare seals out of direct sunlight.
It is normal for a shaft to measure a few tenths of a millimetre smaller than nominal; the sealing lip is engineered to take up that difference.
