The Oil Seal 20x30x8 NBR TC is a TC rotary shaft seal sized 20x30x8 mm (ID × OD × width). It keeps oil inside and dirt outside on a 20 mm shaft seated in a 30 mm bore — a size common in household appliance motors, power tools, aquarium pumps and small gear drives.

How the TC design works
Every TC seal combines three elements: a rubber-covered case that grips the bore, a spring-loaded sealing lip that follows shaft runout, and a dust lip that shields the main lip from contamination.
About the NBR nitrile compound
The compound is NBR nitrile, selected for oil-and-grease compatibility across motors, reducers and pumps. Note the limits: brake fluid degrades nitrile, and sunlight ages stored rubber — so store spares dark and dry.
It is normal for a shaft to measure a few tenths of a millimetre smaller than nominal; the sealing lip is engineered to take up that difference.
