One 15x40x8 mm part does the sealing: the Oil Seal 15x40x8 NBR TC wraps a 15 mm shaft in its spring-loaded lip and presses firmly into a 40 mm bore — the kind of fit seen across compact motors, power tools, small pumps and precision gear units.

Inside the TC double-lip design
TC is the standard rotary-shaft profile for good reason: a rubber OD seals the bore side, a spring-loaded lip seals the shaft side, and a dust lip extends service life in dirty environments.
NBR nitrile rubber at a glance
NBR nitrile rubber gives the lip its resistance to mineral oils, greases and hydraulic fluids — exactly the fluids a gearbox or pump seal meet. It is the industry’s general-purpose choice; just keep it clear of brake fluid and direct sun when storing.
Measuring your shaft a few tenths under the nominal figure is expected; the spring-loaded lip is built to seal with that small interference.
