The Oil Seal 56x90x10 NBR TC is a TC rotary shaft seal sized 56x90x10 mm (ID × OD × width). It keeps oil inside and dirt outside on a 56 mm shaft seated in a 90 mm bore — a size common in steel-plant gearboxes, screw conveyors and big-bore rotating shafts.

Why the TC profile is so widely used
TC is the standard rotary-shaft profile for good reason: a rubber OD seals the bore side, a spring-loaded lip seals the shaft side, and a dust lip extends service life in dirty environments.
About the NBR nitrile compound
Nitrile rubber (NBR) is the workhorse of oil sealing: fully compatible with mineral oils, lubricating greases and common hydraulic fluids — the media found in most gearboxes and motors. Avoid contact with brake fluid, and keep spares shaded from sunlight.
Should the shaft read slightly below the listed size — typically a few tenths of a millimetre — no concern: the lip’s interference fit accounts for it.
