This TC oil seal measures 22x45x8 mm and is machined for a 22 mm shaft rotating inside a 45 mm housing — a dimension you will meet in small electric motors, power tools, pumps and instrument gearboxes.

How the TC design works
Its TC construction pairs a rubber-covered OD (a snug press-fit in the bore) with a spring-energised sealing lip and a separate dust lip, so both oil retention and contamination exclusion are covered.
Material: NBR – Nitrile
NBR nitrile rubber gives the lip its resistance to mineral oils, greases and hydraulic fluids — exactly the fluids a gearbox or pump seal meet. It is the industry’s general-purpose choice; just keep it clear of brake fluid and direct sun when storing.
If your shaft measures a few tenths of a millimetre under the nominal size, that is normal — the sealing lip is designed with interference for exactly that.
