The Oil Seal 42x56x10 NBR TC is a TC rotary shaft seal sized 42x56x10 mm (ID × OD × width). It keeps oil inside and dirt outside on a 42 mm shaft seated in a 56 mm bore — a size common in AC motors, worm gearboxes, gear pumps and harvest machinery.

Why the TC profile is so widely used
TC is the standard rotary-shaft profile for good reason: a rubber OD seals the bore side, a spring-loaded lip seals the shaft side, and a dust lip extends service life in dirty environments.
Material: NBR – Nitrile
Material-wise this is NBR nitrile: a balanced compound for mineral oil, diesel-range fuels and greases at moderate temperatures — ideal for rotating equipment. Two cautions: no exposure to glycol-based brake fluid, and keep stock seals out of sunlight.
It is normal for a shaft to measure a few tenths of a millimetre smaller than nominal; the sealing lip is engineered to take up that difference.
