The Oil Seal 15x30x8 NBR TC (15x30x8 mm) renews the sealing on a 15 mm shaft where grease or oil must stay in and grit must stay out — a typical fitment in compact motors, power tools, small pumps and precision gear units.

Why the TC profile is so widely used
TC seals work with a triple defence — a rubber-coated case seating tightly in the bore, a main lip held against the shaft by a garter spring, and an outer dust lip that keeps abrasive particles away.
About the NBR nitrile compound
NBR nitrile rubber gives the lip its resistance to mineral oils, greases and hydraulic fluids — exactly the fluids a gearbox or pump seal meet. It is the industry’s general-purpose choice; just keep it clear of brake fluid and direct sun when storing.
If your shaft measures a few tenths of a millimetre under the nominal size, that is normal — the sealing lip is designed with interference for exactly that.
