About the DHS wiper
Every DHS wiper combines a press-fit outer diameter that locks into the housing groove with a wiping lip that hugs the rod. Moulded from wear-resistant polyurethane, it strips contamination off the rod as it retracts — the cheapest insurance a hydraulic sealing system can get.
Material: PU – Polyurethane
PU (Polyurethane) is the tough one: it resists extrusion under high pressure and shrugs off abrasion that would shred ordinary rubber. Keep it away from hot water and steam above 80 °C.
Measure the shaft where the lip rides, not the old seal — worn rubber always reads small.
