About the DHS wiper
A DHS wiper sits at the rod end of a hydraulic cylinder and does one critical job: it scrapes dust, mud and moisture off the rod before they can reach the main rod seal. The double-lip polyurethane design wipes the rod clean on every stroke and lets the oil film return to the cylinder instead of leaking out.
Material: PU – Polyurethane
PU (Polyurethane) is the tough one: it resists extrusion under high pressure and shrugs off abrasion that would shred ordinary rubber. Keep it away from hot water and steam above 80 °C.
