About the split design
Two halves, one working seal. The split design exists for shafts that cannot be dismantled: open the seal, wrap it around the shaft where it sits, bolt it closed. Downtime drops from days to hours.
Material: NBR – Nitrile
NBR (Nitrile) is the standard compound for general industrial sealing. It handles mineral oils, greases and hydraulic fluids, which is why it is the default choice in gearboxes, electric motors and pumps. Keep it away from brake fluid, and store spare seals out of direct sunlight.
Measure the shaft where the lip rides, not the old seal — worn rubber always reads small.
