About the split design
A split seal is made in two halves that wrap around the shaft and bolt together — you replace the seal without pulling the coupling, bearings or the shaft itself. On large machines that turns a day of dismantling into an hour of work.
Material: NBR – Nitrile
NBR (Nitrile) is the standard compound for general industrial sealing. It handles mineral oils, greases and hydraulic fluids, which is why it is the default choice in gearboxes, electric motors and pumps. Keep it away from brake fluid, and store spare seals out of direct sunlight.
