If your 58 mm shaft is weeping oil, the Oil Seal 58x68x8 NBR TC — a TC spring-loaded seal at 58x68x8 mm — restores the barrier between the 68 mm housing and the outside world. A staple size for steel-plant gearboxes, screw conveyors and big-bore rotating shafts.

Why the TC profile is so widely used
TC is the standard rotary-shaft profile for good reason: a rubber OD seals the bore side, a spring-loaded lip seals the shaft side, and a dust lip extends service life in dirty environments.
Material: NBR – Nitrile
Made of NBR (acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber), the seal tolerates the mineral oils and lithium greases that lubricate most machinery. Standard practice: keep NBR away from brake fluid, and store unused seals in their bag, out of sunlight.
It is normal for a shaft to measure a few tenths of a millimetre smaller than nominal; the sealing lip is engineered to take up that difference.
