The 38x72x12 mm Oil Seal 38x72x12 NBR TC keeps lubricant circulating where it belongs — inside the housing — on the 38 mm shafts and 72 mm bores typical of industrial motors, speed reducers, hydraulic pumps and farm equipment.

Inside the TC double-lip design
As a TC-pattern seal it seals in two stages: a primary spring-loaded lip holds the oil film on the shaft, while a second lip fends off dust and water spray; the rubber-covered case keeps the whole unit anchored in the bore.
NBR nitrile rubber at a glance
Nitrile rubber (NBR) is the workhorse of oil sealing: fully compatible with mineral oils, lubricating greases and common hydraulic fluids — the media found in most gearboxes and motors. Avoid contact with brake fluid, and keep spares shaded from sunlight.
Should the shaft read slightly below the listed size — typically a few tenths of a millimetre — no concern: the lip’s interference fit accounts for it.
