One 38x70x8 mm part does the sealing: the Oil Seal 38x70x8 NBR TC wraps a 38 mm shaft in its spring-loaded lip and presses firmly into a 70 mm bore — the kind of fit seen across motor shafts, gearbox input stages, centrifugal pumps and tillers.

Why the TC profile is so widely used
As a TC-pattern seal it seals in two stages: a primary spring-loaded lip holds the oil film on the shaft, while a second lip fends off dust and water spray; the rubber-covered case keeps the whole unit anchored in the bore.
Why NBR for this seal
This is an NBR-nitrile seal — the everyday elastomer for oil-lubricated equipment, compatible with mineral oils, greases and hydraulic media. For longest life, avoid brake fluid contact and store spares away from direct sunlight.
Should the shaft read slightly below the listed size — typically a few tenths of a millimetre — no concern: the lip’s interference fit accounts for it.
