The 52x72x8 mm Oil Seal 52x72x8 NBR TC keeps lubricant circulating where it belongs — inside the housing — on the 52 mm shafts and 72 mm bores typical of steel-plant gearboxes, screw conveyors and big-bore rotating shafts.

About the TC profile
Its TC construction pairs a rubber-covered OD (a snug press-fit in the bore) with a spring-energised sealing lip and a separate dust lip, so both oil retention and contamination exclusion are covered.
Material: NBR – Nitrile
Nitrile rubber (NBR) is the workhorse of oil sealing: fully compatible with mineral oils, lubricating greases and common hydraulic fluids — the media found in most gearboxes and motors. Avoid contact with brake fluid, and keep spares shaded from sunlight.
Don’t worry if your micrometer shows the shaft a few tenths under size — the garter-sprung lip is designed to seal against exactly that condition.
