The 48x58x10 mm Oil Seal 48x58x10 NBR TC keeps lubricant circulating where it belongs — inside the housing — on the 48 mm shafts and 58 mm bores typical of heavy-duty gearboxes, conveyor drums and large pump shafts.

Inside the TC double-lip design
Its TC construction pairs a rubber-covered OD (a snug press-fit in the bore) with a spring-energised sealing lip and a separate dust lip, so both oil retention and contamination exclusion are covered.
Why NBR for this seal
Material-wise this is NBR nitrile: a balanced compound for mineral oil, diesel-range fuels and greases at moderate temperatures — ideal for rotating equipment. Two cautions: no exposure to glycol-based brake fluid, and keep stock seals out of sunlight.
Should the shaft read slightly below the listed size — typically a few tenths of a millimetre — no concern: the lip’s interference fit accounts for it.
