If your 25 mm shaft is weeping oil, the Oil Seal 25x50x7 NBR TC — a TC spring-loaded seal at 25x50x7 mm — restores the barrier between the 50 mm housing and the outside world. A staple size for motor shafts, gearbox input stages, centrifugal pumps and tillers.

Why the TC profile is so widely used
Three features define the TC type: the rubber outer case that fills small bore imperfections, the garter-spring-loaded lip that maintains contact under runout, and the auxiliary lip that acts as a dirt barrier.
Material: NBR – Nitrile
Nitrile rubber (NBR) is the workhorse of oil sealing: fully compatible with mineral oils, lubricating greases and common hydraulic fluids — the media found in most gearboxes and motors. Avoid contact with brake fluid, and keep spares shaded from sunlight.
Don’t worry if your micrometer shows the shaft a few tenths under size — the garter-sprung lip is designed to seal against exactly that condition.
