Sized 34x55x8 mm (inner × outer × width), the Oil Seal 34x55x8 NBR TC seals a 34 mm shaft running in a 55 mm bore. This size turns up often in motor shafts, gearbox input stages, centrifugal pumps and tillers.

How the TC design works
As a TC-pattern seal it seals in two stages: a primary spring-loaded lip holds the oil film on the shaft, while a second lip fends off dust and water spray; the rubber-covered case keeps the whole unit anchored in the bore.
Material: NBR – Nitrile
Material-wise this is NBR nitrile: a balanced compound for mineral oil, diesel-range fuels and greases at moderate temperatures — ideal for rotating equipment. Two cautions: no exposure to glycol-based brake fluid, and keep stock seals out of sunlight.
Should the shaft read slightly below the listed size — typically a few tenths of a millimetre — no concern: the lip’s interference fit accounts for it.
