The Oil Seal 27x45x8 NBR TC is a TC rotary shaft seal sized 27x45x8 mm (ID × OD × width). It keeps oil inside and dirt outside on a 27 mm shaft seated in a 45 mm bore — a size common in AC motors, worm gearboxes, gear pumps and harvest machinery.

Why the TC profile is so widely used
TC is the standard rotary-shaft profile for good reason: a rubber OD seals the bore side, a spring-loaded lip seals the shaft side, and a dust lip extends service life in dirty environments.
NBR nitrile rubber at a glance
Made of NBR (acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber), the seal tolerates the mineral oils and lithium greases that lubricate most machinery. Standard practice: keep NBR away from brake fluid, and store unused seals in their bag, out of sunlight.
If your shaft measures a few tenths of a millimetre under the nominal size, that is normal — the sealing lip is designed with interference for exactly that.
