The 50x82x12 mm Oil Seal 50x82x12 NBR TC keeps lubricant circulating where it belongs — inside the housing — on the 50 mm shafts and 82 mm bores typical of heavy-duty gearboxes, conveyor drums and large pump shafts.

Inside the TC double-lip design
Its TC construction pairs a rubber-covered OD (a snug press-fit in the bore) with a spring-energised sealing lip and a separate dust lip, so both oil retention and contamination exclusion are covered.
NBR nitrile rubber at a glance
The seal lip is moulded from NBR, a nitrile rubber prized for resistance to mineral oil, grease and hydraulic fluids — the default elastomer for general machinery. It should not meet brake fluid, and stored spares fare best away from UV light.
It is normal for a shaft to measure a few tenths of a millimetre smaller than nominal; the sealing lip is engineered to take up that difference.
