One 50x70x12 mm part does the sealing: the Oil Seal 50x70x12 NBR TC wraps a 50 mm shaft in its spring-loaded lip and presses firmly into a 70 mm bore — the kind of fit seen across heavy-duty gearboxes, conveyor drums and large pump shafts.

Why the TC profile is so widely used
As a TC-pattern seal it seals in two stages: a primary spring-loaded lip holds the oil film on the shaft, while a second lip fends off dust and water spray; the rubber-covered case keeps the whole unit anchored in the bore.
Material: NBR – Nitrile
The seal lip is moulded from NBR, a nitrile rubber prized for resistance to mineral oil, grease and hydraulic fluids — the default elastomer for general machinery. It should not meet brake fluid, and stored spares fare best away from UV light.
Measuring your shaft a few tenths under the nominal figure is expected; the spring-loaded lip is built to seal with that small interference.
