Sized 40x60x12 mm (inner × outer × width), the Oil Seal 40x60x12 NBR TC seals a 40 mm shaft running in a 60 mm bore. This size turns up often in motor shafts, gearbox input stages, centrifugal pumps and tillers.

Why the TC profile is so widely used
Its TC construction pairs a rubber-covered OD (a snug press-fit in the bore) with a spring-energised sealing lip and a separate dust lip, so both oil retention and contamination exclusion are covered.
NBR nitrile rubber at a glance
This is an NBR-nitrile seal — the everyday elastomer for oil-lubricated equipment, compatible with mineral oils, greases and hydraulic media. For longest life, avoid brake fluid contact and store spares away from direct sunlight.
Don’t worry if your micrometer shows the shaft a few tenths under size — the garter-sprung lip is designed to seal against exactly that condition.
