The Oil Seal 30x47x12 NBR TC is a TC rotary shaft seal sized 30x47x12 mm (ID × OD × width). It keeps oil inside and dirt outside on a 30 mm shaft seated in a 47 mm bore — a size common in workshop motors, helical gearboxes, vane pumps and tractor attachments.

About the TC profile
TC is the standard rotary-shaft profile for good reason: a rubber OD seals the bore side, a spring-loaded lip seals the shaft side, and a dust lip extends service life in dirty environments.
About the NBR nitrile compound
NBR (Nitrile) is the standard compound for general industrial sealing. It handles mineral oils, greases and hydraulic fluids, which is why it is the default choice in gearboxes, electric motors and pumps. Keep it away from brake fluid, and store spare seals out of direct sunlight.
Measuring your shaft a few tenths under the nominal figure is expected; the spring-loaded lip is built to seal with that small interference.
