Replace the worn seal on a 30 mm shaft with the Oil Seal 30x40x12 NBR TC — 30x40x12 mm, TC profile, NBR compound — it drops into a 40 mm bore and stops the leak. Popular in industrial motors, speed reducers, hydraulic pumps and farm equipment.

About the TC profile
TC seals work with a triple defence — a rubber-coated case seating tightly in the bore, a main lip held against the shaft by a garter spring, and an outer dust lip that keeps abrasive particles away.
NBR nitrile rubber at a glance
The compound is NBR nitrile, selected for oil-and-grease compatibility across motors, reducers and pumps. Note the limits: brake fluid degrades nitrile, and sunlight ages stored rubber — so store spares dark and dry.
Should the shaft read slightly below the listed size — typically a few tenths of a millimetre — no concern: the lip’s interference fit accounts for it.
