Replace the worn seal on a 15 mm shaft with the Oil Seal 15x28x7 NBR TC — 15x28x7 mm, TC profile, NBR compound — it drops into a 28 mm bore and stops the leak. Popular in compact motors, power tools, small pumps and precision gear units.

About the TC profile
Every TC seal combines three elements: a rubber-covered case that grips the bore, a spring-loaded sealing lip that follows shaft runout, and a dust lip that shields the main lip from contamination.
Why NBR for this seal
NBR (Nitrile) is the standard compound for general industrial sealing. It handles mineral oils, greases and hydraulic fluids, which is why it is the default choice in gearboxes, electric motors and pumps. Keep it away from brake fluid, and store spare seals out of direct sunlight.
It is normal for a shaft to measure a few tenths of a millimetre smaller than nominal; the sealing lip is engineered to take up that difference.
